Official Terms and Conditions

By booking or participating in The Fitting Challenge (the “Challenge”), participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Club Champion may modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge as provided in Section 9.

1. Eligibility

The Challenge is available exclusively to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of participation, attend a Club Champion fitting studio located in the United States, and are new customers. For purposes of the Challenge, a “new customer” is an individual who has not previously purchased a custom club from Club Champion and is not already in the Club Champion database with a custom club purchase. Prior fitting-only customers and customers who have purchased non-custom, stock, or off-the-rack OEM products from Club Champion may participate, provided they have not previously purchased a custom club from Club Champion. Club Champion may verify eligibility using its customer records and may disqualify any participant who provides inaccurate, incomplete, duplicative, or misleading information.

• Employees, officers, and directors of Club Champion and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate.
• Participation is limited to one (1) Challenge attempt per person per club category during the Challenge period. A participant may complete the Challenge across multiple club categories — for example, driver and irons — provided each fitting session is separately booked, completed within the Challenge period, and evaluated independently. A participant may not retake the Challenge for the same club category.

A valid fitting appointment is required to participate, and the fitting must be both booked and completed during the Challenge period. Walk-in customers may participate only if fitting availability permits, as determined by the fitter in their discretion.

2. Club Scope

The Fitting Challenge is available for the following club categories: driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, and wedges. Putters are excluded.

The participant’s current club — referred to throughout as the “Gamer” — must be brought to the fitting session for the selected category. The Challenge cannot be conducted without the participant’s Gamer present.

For iron fittings, the participant must use a 6-iron as their gamer. The fitted comparison club will match the same club number as the Gamer benchmark.

The Gamer must be a commercially produced, conforming club. Non-conforming, prototype, or novelty clubs are not permitted as the Gamer baseline.

3. What “Winning the Challenge” Means

Winning the Challenge requires the Club Champion fitter-recommended club to outperform the participant’s Gamer in at least one (1) of the following three performance categories. Satisfying any one category is sufficient for Club Champion to win the Challenge.

Club Champion wins: the fitted club outperforms the Gamer in at least one category. Customer wins: it does not. Ties or results showing no improvement in any category go to the customer. The fitter’s recorded data is the sole basis for determining results, and their determination is final, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

4. Measurement Protocol

4.1  Equipment

All measurements shall be conducted on a Tour-grade launch monitor as designated by Club Champion (e.g., Trackman). The same launch monitor must be used for both the Gamer and the fitter-recommended club. No alternative measurement tools or methods will be accepted. If a launch monitor, power, or other equipment failure prevents completion of the official measurement session, no Challenge result will be declared for that incomplete session, the participant will not be charged a fitting fee for that incomplete session, and no reward will be awarded unless the participant wins a completed rescheduled session.

4.2  Warm-Up

Participants will be given up to five (5) warm-up swings with their Gamer before the official measurement session begins. Warm-up swings do not count toward the official average.

4.3  Gamer Baseline

Following warm-up, the participant must hit a minimum of ten (10) official shots with their Gamer. The Club Champion fitter may, at their sole discretion, discard the single highest and single lowest result from the ten-shot session to account for variance. The remaining shots will be averaged to establish the Gamer Baseline across all applicable categories.

If a participant hits more than ten (10) official shots, the fitter will select the ten most representative valid shots for averaging. Shots that are clearly mishit — topped, shanked, or otherwise aberrant — or that result in incomplete or erroneous launch monitor readings may be discarded and re-hit at the fitter’s discretion. The fitter’s determination is final.

4.4  Fitted Club Measurement

The Club Champion fitter will conduct a full fitting for the selected club category, selecting the optimal head and shaft combination based solely on launch monitor data and professional expertise. The participant does not select the comparison club. The fitted club must be a commercially available, conforming head and shaft combination stocked or orderable through Club Champion.

The participant will be given up to five (5) warm-up swings with the fitted club before official measurement begins. The participant must then hit a minimum of ten (10) official shots. The same discard and averaging rules from Section 4.3 apply.

4.5  Determining the Result

The fitter’s recorded measurements and calculations are final. Results will be reviewed and the outcome declared by the fitter at the conclusion of the session.

5. How It Works

The Challenge is free to enter, and no club purchase is required. The outcome is straightforward:

If Club Champion wins — the fitted club outperforms the Gamer in at least one of the three categories — the customer pays the standard fitting fee for the session unless the customer purchases any custom Club Champion club, in which case the fitting fee for that session is waived. Off-the-rack, stock, OEM, and other non-custom purchases do not qualify for the fitting fee waiver.

If Club Champion does not win — meaning the fitted club does not outperform the Gamer in carry distance, accuracy, or efficiency — the fitting fee for that session is waived and no purchase is required. In addition, the customer will receive one (1) complimentary golf shaft of their choice from among the golf shafts sold by Club Champion, with a maximum credit value of $450 toward the retail price of the shaft. The credit applies only to the shaft and does not include grips, adapters, installation, build labor, taxes, shipping, handling, or any other charges unless expressly stated in writing by Club Champion. The customer may select a shaft with a retail price greater than $450 by paying the difference above $450 and any excluded charges. The reward is non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, has no cash value, and is subject to product availability. If the retail price of the selected shaft is less than $450, the customer will not receive cash, credit, refund, or other compensation for the difference between the selected shaft’s retail price and $450. If the selected shaft is unavailable, Club Champion may substitute a shaft of equal or lesser retail value. The shaft will be shipped to the Club Champion store where the customer completed the fitting. The customer will be notified when the shaft arrives and must pick it up from that store.

• A participant completing multiple club category fittings is subject to these same terms independently for each session and may receive a separate reward for each separate club category session in which Club Champion does not win, subject to the one-attempt-per-category limit.

Standard Club Champion fitting fees apply if Club Champion wins the Challenge or if a participant is disqualified under these Terms and Conditions. The applicable fitting fee will be disclosed before scheduling and is available on the Club Champion website, upon request, or through Club Champion customer service.

• The fitter’s determination of the outcome is final in all matters.

6. Payment Terms

• The Challenge is free to enter, and no club purchase is required. No payment is required unless Club Champion wins or the participant is disqualified under these Terms and Conditions.

If Club Champion wins the Challenge, the participant must either: (a) pay the standard fitting fee for the session, or (b) purchase any custom Club Champion club, which waives the fitting fee for that session. The participant may choose either option.

• Participants who purchase any custom Club Champion club in connection with the applicable Challenge session will have the fitting fee for that session waived, consistent with Club Champion’s standard fitting fee policy. Off-the-rack, stock, OEM, and other non-custom purchases do not qualify for the fitting fee waiver. The fitting fee waiver applies per session — each session is evaluated independently.

In any completed, non-disqualified session, the participant is under no obligation to purchase a club. If Club Champion wins, the only financial consequence is the standard fitting fee, which is waived upon a qualifying custom club purchase.

• Fitting fees are non-refundable once paid, except that no fitting fee will be charged for an incomplete session that cannot be completed due to a launch monitor, power, or other equipment failure. Payment applies per session; each club category fitting is evaluated independently.

7. Conduct & Integrity

• Participants must make a genuine effort to perform at their normal ability level with both the Gamer and the fitted club throughout the session.
• Intentional sandbagging — defined as deliberately underperforming with the Gamer to artificially lower the baseline — is prohibited.
• Club Champion fitters are authorized to disqualify a participant’s session if, in their professional judgment, there is evidence of intentional sandbagging, misrepresentation, ineligibility, violation of these Terms and Conditions, or unsportsmanlike conduct. A disqualified participant is not eligible for a complimentary shaft or fitting fee waiver and will be charged the standard fitting fee for the session. The fitter’s determination is final and not subject to appeal.
• Participants must follow all range safety rules and fitter instructions throughout the session.

8. Dates & Locations

The Fitting Challenge is available only from June 23, 2026 through July 18, 2026. To qualify, the fitting must be both booked and completed during this period.

• The Challenge is available at Club Champion fitting studios located in the United States only, subject to appointment availability. Club Champion locations outside the United States are excluded.
• Appointments are subject to availability. Club Champion does not guarantee Challenge availability for walk-in customers.

9. General Conditions

Club Champion reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel The Fitting Challenge, in whole or in part, if fraud, technical failures, legal requirements, operational constraints, or other circumstances impair the integrity, administration, availability, or lawful operation of the Challenge. Any modification, suspension, or cancellation will apply prospectively and will not materially affect rewards already earned, except where required by law or where the reward was affected by fraud, error, ineligibility, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

• Club Champion’s decisions regarding eligibility, measurement, results, and rewards are final in all matters.
• The Challenge is void where prohibited by law.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which the participating fitting session occurs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any non-waivable consumer protection rights that may apply.
• Club Champion may collect and use personal information, customer records, appointment information, launch-monitor data, fitting data, purchase information, and Challenge results to administer the Challenge, verify eligibility, provide services, fulfill rewards, communicate with participants, and maintain business records in accordance with Club Champion’s privacy policy. Club Champion will use a participant’s name, likeness, photos, videos, testimonials, or identifiable fitting results for advertising or promotional purposes, unless the participant expressly opts out in writing at the time of the fitting.
• By participating, each participant acknowledges that golf swings and fitting activities involve physical movement and equipment use, and the participant represents that they are physically able to participate safely. Each participant assumes responsibility for following all fitter instructions, studio rules, and safety requirements.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant releases Club Champion and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns, from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Challenge, any fitting session, any disqualification or outcome determination, and any reward or use of a reward, except to the extent caused by conduct that cannot be released under applicable law.
• Club Champion is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, corrupted, or unavailable information; technical, equipment, power, network, or system failures; human error; unauthorized intervention; or events beyond Club Champion’s reasonable control that may affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Challenge.
• If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
