No shaft is perfectly round, straight or stiff throughout its length.
Despite modern manufacturing techniques, every golf shaft, whether
steel or composite, remains as unique as a fingerprint. That’s why it’s
important to know where the shaft is most stable when striking the
ball. SST PURE™ shaft analysis pinpoints and correctly aligns the
principal planar oscillation plane (PPOP) in the clubhead to optimize
shaft stability and performance. After the PUREing process, a printout
accompanies each shaft as proof that it has been PUREd, showing
performance characteristics before and after the process.
Club Champion
A.I. Fitter Co-Pilot
The A.I.-based “Club Champion A.I. Fitter Co-Pilot” is a new addition to US fitting studios and was designed to help fitters get to the best equipment more quickly during a custom fitting. The A.I.-assisted model aims to reduce fatigue during the popular 3.5-hour full bag fitting. In testing, the Club Champion A.I. Fitter Co-Pilot was able to suggest both clubhead and shaft components with 95-100% accuracy. This technology is proprietary to Club Champion and allows us to not only be the leader in the club fitting space, but also a pioneer in leveraging machine learning in our fitting services!
