Add-on fitting

Golf Ball Fitting

The one piece of equipment you use on every single shot, matched to your swing with data instead of habit.

Most golfers fit their clubs and keep playing whatever ball they always have. The ball decides distance off the tee, spin into greens and feel around them, and the right one is not the same for any two swings. Your fitter reads your numbers and recommends from 8 major manufacturers — Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade and more — not from a brand list.

One ball, checked against the whole game

The right ball is a compromise across three distances. The fitting measures all three instead of optimizing one.

Off the tee

Where distance comes from

What we measure

Ball speed, launch, spin

Carry you keep without ballooning.

Into greens

The scoring approach shots

What we measure

Spin, peak height, land angle

Approaches that hold instead of releasing.

Around the green

Feel and short-game spin

What we measure

Spin, launch, contact

Chips that check where you read them.

The ball fitting rides inside your club fitting — the same swings produce both answers. Select "add golf ball" when you book.

✓ Perfect Fit Guarantee

How a Ball Fitting runs

The same swings that fit your clubs fit your ball — no extra session to book.

What gets tested, in order

Golfer hitting an iron in a fitting bay, TrackMan shot data on the screen

Baseline with your ball

Your current ball hits first, so every comparison is against what you actually play.

What you walk out with

Every spec written down, and a build that matches it.

Your build sheet

The session ends with a build sheet listing the exact specs for every club it covered: head, shaft, length, lie, loft, swingweight and grip. Alongside it sits an itemized recommendation showing what each piece costs.

Nothing is bundled and nothing is withheld. The sheet is yours to keep whether you order that day or not.

No spiffs, no house brand

Your fitter is paid the same whatever you buy. There is no incentive to steer you toward one manufacturer, so the recommendation on your sheet is the one your numbers produced.

Built by Master Builders

Your order goes to a build shop, not an assembly line. Master Builders assemble each club to the specs on your sheet, and we email you as it moves.

SST PUREing, if you want it

No shaft is perfectly consistent around its axis. SST PUREing finds each shaft’s most stable orientation and aligns it that way in the build. It is an optional add-on, priced per shaft, not part of the standard build.

What it costs, and what that buys

You pay for the fitting once. The clubs it produces carry lifetime loft, lie and length adjustments, and the Perfect Fit Guarantee sits behind the build.

A lower fee with a custom club purchase.

A Golf Ball Fitting is a $25 add-on to any club fitting and runs inside your session. It is not covered by the purchase offer.

Buy custom clubs during your visit and fittings become $100 for a full bag, $50 for anything else.

P.A.R. members get one complimentary fitting a year (not valid on Full Bag).

Ball Fitting questions, answered

What golfers ask most before adding a ball fitting.

What is a golf ball fitting?

A golf ball fitting uses over 40 TrackMan data points from your iron and driver shots to identify the ball that performs best for your swing, and can be added to any club fitting.

Does Club Champion offer golf ball fittings?

Yes — a golf ball fitting can be added to any club fitting type to identify the ball that performs best for your swing, but it isn’t offered as a stand-alone service.

Does the golf ball matter?

Yes — the ball is the one piece of equipment used on every shot, making the right choice directly important to lowering your scores.

How do I choose the right golf ball?

A golf ball fitting is the most reliable way to choose — it’s data driven, brand agnostic, and can be added to any fitting session.

Should I get fit for a golf ball before or after my club fitting?

At the same time — a golf ball fitting can be added directly into any Club Champion fitting session.

What is golf ball compression?

Compression measures how much a golf ball deforms on impact. Lower-compression balls are softer and compress more easily; higher-compression balls are firmer and require more force to compress.

What is a urethane golf ball?

Urethane refers to the outer cover material of the ball. Urethane covers generally produce more spin and cost more to manufacture than other cover materials.

What is an RCT golf ball?

RCT stands for Radar Capture Technology — a radar-reflective mark applied on the ball’s casing layer that helps TrackMan capture the most accurate possible swing and flight data.

Why does Club Champion use RCT golf balls?

RCT balls maximize data accuracy during fittings, which is what allows fitting results to translate reliably to real on-course performance.
